RAM

Kingston HyperX Memory Full Review

Kingston recently announced the availability of its new HyperX Plug and Play High Performance Memory for notebooks. The industry's first memory modules with "Sandy Bridge Ready Frequencies" for Intel's latest generation of processors, the HyperX Plug and Play Memory uses JEDEC-compliant 1600MHz and 1866MHz values. We decided to take a closer look at this high-performance RAM to see what a typical laptop user can expect if they simply "plug and play."
Kingston HyperX Plug and Play DDR3 1600MHz, 1866MHz Notebook RAM Specifications

Part Number Capacity and Specs MSRP (U.S. only)
KHX1600C9S3P1K2/8G 8GB 1600MHz Non-ECC SODIMM @1.5v (kit of 2) CL9-9-9 $122.00
KHX1600C9S3P1K2/4G 4GB 1600MHz Non-ECC SODIMM @1.5v (kit of 2) CL9-9-9 $67.00
KHX1866CC11S3P1K2/8G 8GB 1866MHz Non-ECC SODIMM @1.5v (kit of 2) CL11-11-11 $163.00
KHX1866CC11S3P1K2/4G 4GB 1866MHz Non-ECC SODIMM @1.5v (kit of 2) CL11-11-11 $88.00
Many PC gamers are already familiar with the HyperX brand of high-performance memory but this latest generation of RAM from Kingston represents the first memory modules to reach the higher frequencies of the second generation Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs. This memory is programmed with the faster frequencies and when you "plug" the modules into a system using the Intel "Sandy Bridge" chipset they will automatically "play" at either 1600MHz or 1866MHz inside the notebook.
Since your laptop automatically recognizes the faster memory speed there is no further BIOS setting required. Kingston says users will notice performance gains as the "overclocking is automatic" with the HyperX modules. In addition, these modules are backwards compatible with older DDR3-based notebooks and netbooks already on the market.

POWER SUPPLY

Specifications, Availability and Pricing
Enermax has outfitted the MODU87+ 800W power supply with four 12V rails which are capable of pushing almost the entire load of PSU, maxing out at 792W. Those with power hungry video cards will find plenty of power here. How the rails are split up is a mystery at this point, but we will track that down once we take a peek inside. Enermax is known for some odd rail layouts, but always manages to make everything work quite well.

Short of being 100% modular like the SilverStone ST1000-P we recently reviewed, Enermax has every feature that you could begin to imagine including eight forms of power protection, a twister bearing fan that runs as low as 330 RPM for reduced noise, HeatGuard to keep the fan running after system shutdown to reduce PSU temps faster, a 50C rating to ensure stability at high loads for extended periods of time, and CordGuard to prevent accidental disconnection of the AC power cord. If you can think of it, Enermax gives it to you with the MODU87+ 800W power supply. All of this comes at an MSRP price of $249. 99 and is backed by a 5-year warranty.

Windows 8 feature

Support for both x86 PCs and ARM tablets

Windows 8 is the first edition of Windows which will work on both ARM based tablets and traditional x86 (as well as x32 and x64) PCs based on ARM processors from Intel and AMD.
“Support for ARM-based chipsets, touch, and sensors makes Windows 8 work beautifully on your choice of a full spectrum of devices, such as 10-inch slates with all-day battery life, ultra-lightweight laptops, and powerful all-in-ones with 27-inch high-definition screens,” Microsoft contends, in a Windows 8 Guide distributed with Windows Developer Preview

Windows To Go

The “Windows To Go” seems to be an exciting feature that basically allows Windows 8 to boot from a USB device (called as Live USB), including user’s programs, settings and files. The feature is designed to work with both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, and on both legacy NIOS and UDFI firmware. However, Microsoft says that a user will not be able to “Hibernate” with this feature.
Windows 8“Windows To Go is a new feature in Windows 8 that enables enterprise administrators to create USB drives containing complete, managed Windows images that users can use to boot and run Windows on any Windows 7 or Windows 8 capable computer. Windows To Go makes it possible for employees to use a managed device whether they work from home, a client office or in a free seating environment. This session will discuss Windows To Go, its hardware requirements and building compatible and complementary software.”
Another interesting thing about this feature is that, if the USB drive is removed, Windows will automatically freeze, but will continue to operate if the USB drive is inserted back in the next 60 seconds after removal.

Windows Store

To compete with Apple, Windows has confirmed the introduction of a Windows Store, similar to Mac App Store, which allows users to browse through Windows applications, while developers can publish their Metro-style apps on Windows 8 devices.
Few days back, Microsoft gave a strategic view of its app store, and gave a quick demo on how it works. Microsoft revealed that the Windows App Store will be the only place where users can access the Metro-styled apps. Here’s a quick demo that shows how users will be able to buy their apps:

Windows 8 User Interface

Speaking about the UI, Windows 8 certainly has got a mind blowing interactive UI, which has been extensively redesigned to a “Metro-style” design, which shows the most important information to you, embodies simplicity, and gives you full control over it. The UI is designed to provide a fluid and intuitive interaction and navigation with touch, or a mouse and keyboard.
Julie Larson-Green, Corporate Vice President, Windows who stated: “Everything that’s great about Windows 7, is better in Windows 8,” gave a quick hands on look at the Windows 8 user-interface. Here are some of the screenshots she released:
Windows Logon Screen – Unlike the traditional way of entering a password to unlock the screen, Windows 8 can be unlocked by just tapping on the right areas of the screen.

Windows 8 Features
Windows 8 Start Screen – The Start screen is yet another impressive UI. The screen basically groups all your applications together, which you can easily drag and drop, or add new things.

Improved Windows Defender

The Windows Defender which was first released with Windows Vista is getting a security upgrade with the upcoming Windows 8. This would probably edge-our third-party antivirus and anti-malware programs. Windows Defender will become a full-fledged anti-malware solution for Windows 8. This will include protection against all types of malware such as virus, worms, trojans and rootkits.
In addition to that, Windows Defender will provide real-time detection and protection from malware threats using a file system filter, and will interface with Windows secured boot, which is another security feature.

Internet Explorer 10

The developer preview of Windows 8 comes with a Metro version of Internet Explore (IE) 10. Since it is a preview version, it does not support any browser plugins and extension – including Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight. However, it will feature full screen browsing mode by default, implements several new HTML5 capabilities, turbocharges HTML5 performance, and adds some security options for Web applications.

Electric Car

An electric car is an automobile which is propelled by electric motor(s), using electrical energy stored in batteries or another energy storage device. Electric cars were popular in the late-19th century and early 20th century, until advances in internal combustion engine technology and mass production of cheaper gasoline vehicles led to a decline in the use of electric drive vehicle. The energy crises of the 1970s and 80s brought a short lived interest in electric cars, but in the mid 2000s took place a renewed interest in the production of electric cars due mainly to concerns about rapidly increasing oil prices and the need to curb greenhouse gas emissions.[1][2] As of November 2011 series production models available in some countries include the Tesla Roadster, REVAi, Renault Fluence Z.E., Buddy, Mitsubishi i MiEV, Tazzari Zero, Nissan Leaf, Smart ED, Wheego Whip LiFe, Mia electric, and BYD e6. The Leaf, with more than 20,000 units sold worldwide by November 2011,[3] and the i-MiEV, with global cumulative sales of more than 17,000 units through October 2011, are the world's top selling highway-capable electric cars.[4]
Electric cars have several potential benefits as compared to conventional internal combustion automobiles that include a significant reduction of urban air pollution as they do not emit harmful tailpipe pollutants from the onboard source of power at the point of operation (zero tail pipe emissions);[5][6][7] reduced greenhouse gas emissions from the onboard source of power depending on the fuel and technology used for electricity generation to charge the batteries;[1][2] and less dependence on foreign oil, which for the United States, other developed and emerging countries is cause of concerns about their vulnerability to price shocks and supply disruption.[1][8][9] Also for many developing countries, and particularly for the poorest in Africa, high oil prices have an adverse impact on their balance of payments, hindering their economic growth.[10][11]
Despite their potential benefits, widespread adoption of electric cars faces several hurdles and limitations.[1][2] As of 2011 electric cars are significantly more expensive than conventional internal combustion engine vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles due to the additional cost of their lithium-ion battery pack.[12] However, battery prices are coming down with mass production and expected to drop further.[13] Other factors discouraging the adoption of electric cars are the lack of public and private recharging infrastructure and the driver's fear of the batteries running out of energy before reaching their destination (range anxiety) due to the limited range of existing electric cars. Several governments have established policies and economic incentives to overcome existing barriers, to promote the sales of electric cars, and to fund further development of electric vehicles, more cost-effective battery technology and their components. The U.S. has pledged US$2.4 billion in federal grants for electric cars and batteries.[14] China has announced it will provide US$15 billion to initiate an electric car industry within its borders.[15] Several national and local governments have established tax credits, subsidies, and other incentives to reduce the net purchase price of electric cars and other plug-ins.

Lubang jahiliah

Dalam pekat malam itu,
Allah masih lagi menemani,
Gelap.
"Jalan hati-hati, tengok bawah. sini banyak lubang." Sahibah berpesan. Habis sahaja ayatnya itu...
"Adui!"
Usik sahibah.
Saya diam sahaja, sambil tangan cepat sahaja menepuk-nepuk lengannya.
